Lay Down Your Weary Tune - Bob Dylan
I gazed down in the river's mirror
And watched its winding strum
The water smooth ran like a hymn
And like a harp did hum
July 2020, summer of the pandemic, I walked to Astoria Park and saw this beautiful silver ball floating along on the current of the East River. There was such poetry in this image, the lightness and silveriness on the dark reflective mirror of the water’s surface. The ball sent out a feeling of hope in our troubled times.
